Dorney Wetlands
An early morning whimbrel over-fly was the first indication of a good day for passage migrants county-wide. The two turnstone were loyal to their little islet just off the south bank but five dunlin were the only other new birds - and they only buzzed the site but didn't find any of the margins to their liking ...
Three whinchat, all bright males, and six wheatear (4m, 2f) just confirms Dorney as the chat site in Berkshire
