April 13th Dorney Wetlands I thought the early drizzle might wash something out of the sky this morning - sadly it didn't. I arrived a bit later than usual and got half way to the first bridge when I met Pav (the site regular) on his way back having found nothing so I joined him back to the car park and had a slightly early start to work. There were three RPs this afternoon and a couple of redshank. A little owl was hiding on a post next but one to the ash tree. Last Saturday I found this pretty little bird at a well-known site for Downs unmentionables. They're normally surprisingly camera shy considering their provenance and scuttle away at the sound of a car door opening. CAMERA : E995V1.6 |
