Wishmoor Bottom is a heathland which straddles the south Berkshire/Surrey border. It's a rich site for traditional heathland birds but lies at the south edge of Windsor forest and so even a winter morning visit may well bag crossbill, redpoll and brambling as well as an outside chance of Great Grey Shrike. It has all the traditional heathland soecies in the Summer and makes an excellent early evening walk in early July I've included a walk-through guide with an annotated map in the more info section |
