Part of the gravel pits left over after motorway building, the complex of open water consists of Wraysbury in the south, Horton in the north and a few sailing pits between. In winter the they are covered with wild fowl - the stars being smew and goosander but you can look forward to guest appearances of scaup and the odd diver. |
